Iconic band of modern American prog, Polyphia are ready to return to Italy one year after the extraordinary sold out at Alcatraz in Milan. This time the appointment will be at the Carroponte in Sesto San Giovanni, next June 11th: Igorrr and Plini will open.
Founded in 2010, the band is made up of the two guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage, as well as bassist Clay Gober and drummer Clay Aeschliman. Their approach to progressive rock is contaminated and omnivorous: there are obvious metal roots, but also various elements inherited from careful and refined acquaintances in the world of electronic music and also hip hop. The virtuoso skills of the two guitarists and the solidity of the rhythm section, over the years, have begun to conquer more and more people, so much so that with the fourth studio album, released in 2022 and therefore twelve years after its debut, it reached for the first time history of the band a placement in the Billboard 200, to be precise at position number 33 on their debut: an important certification which even then almost felt like a reward for the intense apprenticeship made in the previous years.
The last tickets still available for the June concert are available su TicketOne.
