An unpublished song by Pino Daniele has come out today. It is titled A part of me and is dedicated to his son Francesco, who appears with him on the cover in a shot of the second son Alessandro.
The piece comes out on the day of the seventieth anniversary of the birth of the musician (as well as on the day of the Father's Day). He dates back to 2009, when Daniele was producing an acoustic record and he thought of making a remake album with unpublished.
The piece, of which Daniele produced the accompaniment of guitar and recorded a pair of take of the voice, was completed with the orchestral arrangement of the master Gianluca Podio and the contribution of Alfredo Golino (drums and percussion), Fabrizio Bianco (bass), Prisca Amori (1st violin), Mariana Dudnic (2nd violin), Gisella Horvat (Viola) (cello), mixed and burned by Pino “Pinaxa” Pischerola.
The publication is part of the initiatives of the Pino Daniele Foundation on the occasion of the 10 years from the death and 70 years from birth. Tomorrow the exhibition will open at the Royal Palace of Naples Pino Daniele. Spiritualwhile on March 31, the documentary by Francesco Lettieri will arrive at the cinema on 1 and 2 April Pine.
