2025 will be the year of Pino Danielewho – on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his death (4 January) and the 70th anniversary of his birth (19th March) – will be remembered with a series of initiatives that bring the 70/10 Anniversary seala distinctive brand that guarantees the authenticity and officiality of the initiatives dedicated to the singer-songwriter and musician.
But, what will be the common thread of all the activities and events planned? As you can easily imagine, at the center of everything there will always and only be the music of Pino Danielewhich is a cry of freedom, as well as a refuge for all those seeking authenticity and beauty.
PINO DANIELE: THE INITIATIVES AND PROJECTS WITH THE 70/10 ANNIVERSARY SEAL
The first initiative that brings the 70/10 Anniversary seal is the MUSICANTE AWARD – Pino Daniele Award: a Live Music Contest of pop rock music that offers young artists who study music, compose and interpret their repertoire, a concrete opportunity to emerge and develop their career.
Sponsored by the Ministry of University and Research, the contest has now reached the second phase, that of Live Auditionswhich will be held on 28 and the 29 January at the Verdi Room of Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory Of Milan.
Discographically speaking, however, the projects that boast the 70/10 Anniversary seal I'm the unreleased song AGAIN (Warner Music Italy), released digitally last November 29th and entered directly into 1st place in theEarOne Airplayand the reprint Musician 40th Anniversary Album.
But that's not all! In March, in the month of the 70th anniversary of the artist's birth, the official documentary film PINEedited by Francesco Lettieri And Federico Vacalebreproduced by Greenland, Lucky Red And Tartare Filmwhile the Royal Palace Of Naples will host the exhibition Pino Daniele Spiritualproduced by COR and edited by Alessandro Daniele And Alexander Nicosia.
Finally, the September 18th in Plebiscito Square to Naples will be held PINO È – THE MUSICAN'S JOURNEYa one-of-a-kind show event that will see great names from the world of music and entertainment taking turns on stage, as well as many guests, artists, musicians, friends and colleagues, to retrace together the life and career of Pino Daniele (tickets available in advance on Ticketone.it and in the usual pre-sales).
The proceeds from the eventnet of production costs, will be donated to support for pediatric oncology research and artistic training. Specifically, scientific research will be supported by funding the PREME project Of OPEN, Pediatric Oncology and Neuroblastoma Association odvwhich aims to guarantee personalized and innovative care for children with cancer. Thanks to Pino Daniele Ets Foundationinstead, scholarships and various initiatives will be established to support young musical talents and combat educational poverty, promoting the language of music in the most fragile situations.
