Oasis have organised a huge draw to decide who will get access to pre-sale tickets for their 2025 tour.
As is known, the tickets will be on sale starting from Saturday, August 31st at 10:00 Italian time (at this link the list of sites where you can buy them). However, the band has announced that on Friday, August 30th there will be a pre-sale reserved for a “few” lucky people.
“To ensure as many fans as possible have a fair opportunity to access tickets,” their official profile reads, the candidates for Friday's pre-sale “will be selected through a vote.” You have until 8:00 p.m. Italian time today, Wednesday, August 28, to register for the vote. You can do so at this link.
To enter the riff raffle you have to answer a couple of questions about the history of Oasis. Some have no impact on your chances of winning (“How many Oasis concerts have you been to in your life?”). One must be answered correctly to gain access to the pre-sale (“Who played drums in the first Oasis line-up?”).
The winners of the grand raffle will receive an email with complete information on access to the presale on the morning of Friday, August 30. But, specifies the official profile, being selected does not necessarily imply being able to buy the tickets, which will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
The historic photo showing Liam and Noel Gallagher together for the first time in many years used to communicate the reunion has caused controversy. Many thought it was post-produced, meaning that the two had not actually met in a photo studio, but had been portrayed separately and then merged on the computer.
More photos from Simon Emmett's shooting have ended up on the Internet, with him saying he was “honored to have been asked to immortalise this moment”, and they would prove the opposite (see below). Not only that. According to an anonymous source cited by Sunthe shooting, which was supposed to take place in July, did indeed happen. «It was top secret, almost no one knew about it». When the two met «the air in the room was sparkling, electric».
According to an insider quoted by the tabloid, Noel was reluctant to get the band back together for fear of disappointing fans' expectations. He changed his mind after seeing Blur's success.

Oasis have explained that the 14 announced are the only dates they will play in Europe in 2025, news that has increased ticket fever a few degrees, with ticket sales also expected to be sought by those living in continental Europe and not just in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
The afternoon before the reunion announcement, a list of tour dates leaked online, which also included some concerts outside the UK and Ireland. The list was reliable as it included all 14 of the dates announced, with only one error: an extra date at Wembley was included, on 30 July, which was not disclosed, but it is possible that the days separating the first London concerts (25 and 26 July) from the last ones (2 and 3 August), and these from the Edinburgh shows on 8 and 9 August, could be used to place additional dates if the first ones sell out.
In any case, the same list included some extra-European dates. After all, Oasis themselves said that in case of success of the reunion they would play later in the year also outside of Europe. Here are the dates in the list, we repeat, unofficial. They are very large places for an English band in North America: Toronto, Canada, Downswiev Park, August 24; Chicago, Soldier Field, August 27; East Rutherford (near New York), MetLife Stadium, August 30; Boston, Gillette Stadium, September 2; Los Angeles, Rose Bowl, September 6; Mexico City, Foro Sol, September 11.
