Already available in both physical and digital formats, NUOVOSPACIOTEMPO it is the third album of his career (the first for Carosello Records – here is our review) by Emma Noldewithin which we find the unreleased collaborations with Niccolò Fabi, Nayt And Mecna: a meeting of apparently very different ways, which share with the Tuscan singer-songwriter the great ability to carefully weigh every single word.
“NUOVOSPACIOTEMPO: the title is interstellar, but I'm talking about everyday time. In this contrast, I capture the nature of a historical moment in which not only the earth and the sky exist, but also Google Earth and iCloud.”
The album is therefore “the story of a common everyday life, in which I move back and forth. In fact, FrI talk about my very personal space-time, my family and my life, which – overwhelmed by the rhythms and high speed with which we live things – today takes on the characteristics of a collective experience.
I like to sing real things and respect them musically. These are my only stakes. L. Borges writes something beautiful inAlephwhose concept I agree with: the story I wrote is a symbol of who I am and to be who I am I had to write that story. Everything else is fleeting. As they say in Chinese philosophy, 'everything is always changing'.”
