The Gwen Stefani-led band last performed together in 2015
After nearly a decade since the Anaheim pop-ska group reunited, No Doubt will be returning to the stage for Coachella 2024.
The news was announced on Tuesday with the release of the annual festival’s lineup, which included Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat listed as headliners.
While the lineup didn’t specify which band members would be reuniting, the group teased their reunion earlier on Tuesday on social media. Lead vocalist Gwen Stefani, bassist Tony Kanal, guitarist Tom Dumont, and drummer Adrian Young hopped on a video call posted to Instagram after Stefani took a quick trip down memory lane and shared album artwork and collages of the group she put together. After texting Kanal and asking the group on jump on a call, Stefani asks, “What are we doing? Why do we not hang out?” Kanal replies, “We should hang out.”
Prior to her upcoming headlining slot, Del Rey also appeared to tease a return to Coachella on her Instagram on News Years day, posting a picture from the 2014 performance alongside the audio for her song “Coachella — Woodstock in My Mind.”
Coachella 2024 is set to take place in Indio, California on the weekends of April 12 through 14 and April 19 to 21. The festival will feature top artists including Blur, Ice Spice, Lil Uzi Vert and Deftones; heavy-hitters from the Latin music world are also playing, including J Balvin and Peso Pluma, and Bizarrap, continuing a trend of Latin artists performing at Coachella.
