After the debut album, “In hell”, published in 2018, and the subsequent EP “I don't know if you have any present”, released two years later, the NdMs, the band of the Roman circuit in tune with the alt-rock sounds of the nineties, has decided to transmit the acronym for its name in something more defined, revealing it in full: new world disorder. In 2022 the cover of “A judge” by Fabrizio De André inaugurated the new course of the project, with the trio immersed in the writing and recording of the songs that ended up inside “Daimon”, the second album. From the first movements of “cese”, the opening track that contains the featuring by Luca Romagnoli of management, the proximity emerges clearly with the maximum volume, because of the declamate that very closely recalls the style of Emidio Clementi, grafted on musical strata that do not seek reassurances.
But the eleven traces of “Daimon” also welcome other coordinates, such as a certain proximity to the stone basins and elements borrowed from the wave scene (the synths of “your will” represent a clear example), more fragments scattered towards Stoner, EBM, Hip-Hop, Swans and Nine Inch Nails. The guitars do not always appear in the foreground, but the released anger is remarkable, the daughter of a discomfort expressed in a clear, raw, nervous, intense, at times provocative way, complete with biblical quotations and references to esotericism. A powerful and dark work, which combines the aggression of electronics with the urgency of rock. TO
Ccanto under the voice and guitars of Aldo Onori, the line-up is completed by Giulio Colletti on drums and Giulio Scipioni on guitars. It produces another Giulio, Spider Favero of Il Teatro degli Orroori. The physical album is available exclusively in vinyl format, autographed by the band and numbered by hand in only 200 copies. The beautiful graphics are the work of Lorenzo De Luca.
