Neil Young has canceled concerts scheduled for 2026 with Chrome Hearts. He announced the news on his website, the Neil Young Archives. «I have decided to take a break and this time I will not do the European tour. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but this is not the right time. I love playing live and being with you and the Chrome Hearts. Love, Neil. You are well.”
The European tour was supposed to start on June 19th from Manchester, England. It would have touched the United Kingdom and Europe and then ended in Italy with two dates, July 14th at the Lucca Summer Festival and July 16th in Codroipo (Udine).
The cancellation comes just days after Young confirmed he was taking his music off Amazon and giving it away to Greenland in response to threats from President Donald Trump. “I hope my music and videos can relieve the stress and unwarranted threats you are experiencing from our unpopular and hopefully temporary government. I sincerely want you to be able to listen to all my music in your beautiful Greenland, in the best possible quality. It is a gesture of peace and love. All the music I have made in 62 years is yours.”
