Selvaggia Lucarelli published today on Everyday occurrence an article about the complaint of the singer Angelica Schiatti accusing her ex Morgan of stalking. The piece reproduces particularly violent and threatening messages sent by Marco Castoldi to his ex and to Calcutta (Angelica's boyfriend). Breaking the silence, Angelica published a message on Instagram, receiving solidarity from many colleagues. Calcutta explained that she wanted to sever all ties with the Warner record company, which she says is guilty of having signed Morgan despite knowing the facts. Here is a summary of the story, while waiting for the trial that will establish the facts and the sentence that will be issued by a court.
Angelica Schiatti's complaint dates back to 2020. The preliminary hearing took place in Lecco on October 10, 2023, the next one is scheduled for September 13, 2024. On DoneLucarelli reports the private chats in which Morgan, once Schiatti had ended the relationship, continued to insistently seek her out, going as far as insulting and threatening her, even writing to the woman's new partner, Calcutta.
From what has emerged so far, after the complaint the Red Code was activated and Morgan underwent a search of his home. The musician continued to send the woman threatening messages, in addition to having published erotic videos and photos of her in some chats: «And now for the joy of all the wankers in the world I'll shoot you a hat-trick of porn videos of A. that will fix you for a few years», with a photo of Schiatti attached: this is the transcript that Lucarelli published of a chat called InArteMorgan. To those who pointed out to him in the chat the seriousness of the gesture, the musician responded: «Can't I share with someone a little bit of holy sluttiness of a slut who acted like a slut because she's a slut and only knows how to act like a slut?».
According to the DoneMorgan allegedly pretended to be rapper Willie Peyote to contact Angelica again and propose a collaboration. He also allegedly contacted Angelica's mother accusing her of manipulating her daughter, writing: “If I get pissed off, the volcano will explode and Angelica will dig her own coffin.” Not content with that, he allegedly contacted some of Schiatti's friends, claiming that she is not faithful to her new partner: “We are a family of bovine-ovines extended in the sense of anal orifice that includes a dozen adult males.”
Morgan allegedly even involved two boys, one of whom had a criminal record, to stalk, perhaps even threaten Angelica and take her to him because “I need to empty my balls”. A message that Morgan allegedly sent via Telegram to Calcutta reads: “Hey little skinny shit. When your little dick is no longer sucked by my woman, a giant black guy will put it in your ass. May you be damned and go where your mother is, you infamous dog”. Despite this, the judges did not issue an explicit ban on approaching the woman.
In the morning, Angelica Schiatti broke her usual reserve on the matter, writing on Instagram: “Thank you so much for the solidarity and affection that I am receiving from many of you. I have been silent for four years and I will continue to remain silent (the facts speak for me) hoping that justice can take its course in a humane time. I have felt and I feel very alone and abandoned by the institutions. This is the condition of a woman who finds the courage to report in Italy, who tries to defend herself and protect her dignity and who should NEVER be left alone.”
Schiatti has received the solidarity of many colleagues and not only, including Tommaso Paradiso (“All my solidarity. What a shitty country, they should still send him on television to explain life to us”), but also Elodie, Emma, Rose Villain, Andrea Delogu, Rachele Bastreghi of Baustelle, Clara, BigMama, VV, Giorgieness, Erica Mou, Giorgia Soleri, to name a few.
Calcutta also decided to comment: “I hate talking about my private life, in fact I hate talking but now I have to. Today several articles have come out that talk about what my girlfriend has had to go through in these 4 years. I assure you that the atrocious facts reported in the article are only a small part of what happened and have changed our lives more than you can imagine. Unfortunately, the news too often talks about similar events that end in the worst possible way.”
Not only that: Calcutta also talks about Warner, the label for which Morgan has just signed a contract, its artists and even its employees. «Warner Music Italia (which I cannot tag because it is already on the blocked accounts list) has decided to offer a contract to this persecutor despite being aware of the facts. For this reason I think it is right to interrupt any possible working relationship with this label. The songs I write will no longer be available for the performers of their roster, and all its employees are no longer welcome at my concerts. It will not be a pleasure to meet them on the street sincerely because those who behave like this while remaining silent are complicit in my eyes. Look inside yourself every now and then».
This afternoon Warner Music Italy, “in light of the contents and messages that have emerged and reported by the Italian press”, has instructed its lawyers to terminate the ongoing contractual relationship with Morgan “allowing the issue to be debated in the appropriate venues”.
We await a response from Morgan and/or his lawyer.
