Momentary Outbursts is the debut EP of Redgea young author and composer from Campania who presents himself to the public with an explosion of energy and authenticity.
Produced by the well-known producer V_Rus and published by B Music Records, with distribution by ADA Music Italy, the EP is a powerful declaration of intent that marks Redge's entry into the Italian rock/punk scene.
On the occasion of the release of the EP we met him and asked him a few questions.
Sfoghi Momentanei is your debut EP, when and how did you start working on the project?
About a year ago I met my producer (V_Rus) and we never stopped from there. We wrote down the entire EP almost immediately and then there were several months of correcting and refining the productions.
Publishing an album requires different phases, from writing the music to writing the lyrics, from recording to production etc… What did you like doing most and what least?
Writing is definitely the most fun because it's amazing to see an idea slowly come to fruition before your eyes, from the music to the words. The least pleasant part are the recordings because they are very technical and repetitive moments.
Do you want to explain to us the meaning of the title Momentary Outbursts?
Sfoghi Momentanei is an EP of liberation, the songs are outbursts of my past that I decided to trap in these songs, so as to free myself from it definitively.
With this EP you interfaced for the first time with the record market and everything that revolves around it, how did you find it?
A world a bit unto itself, particular and extravagant. It must be understood and I still haven't succeeded hahahaha.
Is there a track from Sfoghi Momentanei that represents you the most? if so why?
“Non Lo So” is definitely the track that represents me the most. It brings together everything I am: angry, dickish and disillusioned.
Are there any live shows planned to present the EP in question?
I've already played at more than a few gigs lately but to keep you updated I recommend you follow me on instagram, redge_vr
