Max Weinberg's Jukebox It is made up of four musicians and is an idea of Max Weinberg, drummer of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, born to carry around the great classics of rock'n'roll reinterpreted in a professional way. His concert is not so much a concert as a party, an opportunity in which everyone becomes part of the show: the public can participate in the performance, choosing from a list of over 200 songs and, just like in a Jukebox, he will have his song performed live in real time! Between 2017 and last year, Weinberg performed together with his musicians in over 80 explosive shows and will continue to bring good music of the 60s-80s on tour in the United States and Europe.
Max Weinberg's artistic career begins when he enters the drummer in the E Street Band on the occasion of the Born To Run Tour of Bruce Springsteen. “Max is a hurricane of energy, intelligence and humor,” Springsteen himself said. “He found his place in music thanks to dedication and commitment. On stage, in three hours of rock relentlessly, he goes beyond the simple feeling what I say: he listens to what I think. He anticipates my thoughts, he is telepathy after years of tour together. It is a miracle, and that is why people love musicians like this!”.
Since 1993 Max has also been the leader of The Max Weinberg 7, band of the popular American television show Late Night with Conan O'Brien, with whom he released an album of the same name in 2000. Weinberg is also the author of The Big Beat: Conversations with Rock's Greatest Drummers (1984), a book that collects a series of interviews made over two years with the best with the best with the best years Batters of all eras, including Ringo Starr, and which tells a lot about the approach of these musicians to rock.
The one with Max Weinberg's Jukebox will therefore be an opportunity to listen once again timeless songs, from the Beatles to the Rolling Stones up, of course, in Bruce Springsteen.
