A wave of enthusiasm overwhelmed the Concordia theater of Venaria Reale last night, Tuesday 15 April, for the highly anticipated concert by Lucio Corsi.
The sold out, announced for weeks, has done nothing but increase the excitement for an event that further consecrated the talent of the Tuscan singer -songwriter, back from the success at the Sanremo Festival and ready to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest instead of Olly.
The evening was configured as a real celebration for courses, which after conquering second place and the prestigious award of my critics martini at the seventy -five edition of the Festival with the intense “I wanted to be a tough”, found the warmth of its audience in an intimate and vibrant context.
Venaria's concert was a precious opportunity to listen to the songs of his latest album live, also entitled “I wanted to be a tough”, released on March 21st.
A work that, as the artist describes, is a journey between true and false memories, singular characters and evocative landscapes, from flowering expanses to industrial areas. Corsi has been able to translate the intimate and poetic narrative of his album on stage, with an expressive clarity that has captured the attention of every single spectator.
The lineup has expertly alternated the new sounds, the result of a stylistic research that does not fear change, to the most loved songs of its repertoire, creating a magical and engaging atmosphere.
The audience of the Concordia Theater responded with extraordinary heat, singing the refrains and paying long applause to each execution. The joy of being able to attend such a special moment in Lucio Corsi's career, an artist who with his authenticity and originality was evident, he has been able to conquer criticism and public.
This Sold Out concert in Venaria Reale is not only a stage of his “Club Tour 2025”, a prelude to the summer tour that will also see him protagonist at the Flowers Festival in Collegno on July 8, but represents further confirmation of his well -deserved success. The wait to see it represent Italy at the Eurovision is already palpable, and evenings like yesterday they do nothing but feed the hope of an excellent performance on the European stage.
Lucio Corsi has once again shown that he is an artist capable of exciting and transporting his audience to a unique and fascinating musical universe.
