«Love MI wants to be a free space open to the contemporary in a city that doesn’t always give away things», Fedez said on that occasion. «Started as an idea to relaunch live appointments in Italian squares and combine music and charity, it has become a moment of union, a real annual ritual».
Part summer festival and part television event, Love MI will begin at 18. There is no ticket, but people will be allowed access in limited numbers to Piazza Duomo starting at 10. In front of the Vittorio Emanuele monument there it will be a giant screen (the area reserved for the disabled is instead located in the churchyard of the Cathedral). The stops of Line 1 of and Line 3 of the Duomo will be closed from 11.30. At the end of the concert the two lines will be strengthened.
At 18 will also start live on Mediaset Infinity, with Gabriele Vagnato conducting, and on Radio 105, with the speakers Annie Mazzola and Alessandro Sansone. On TV it will be visible starting at 19 on Italia 1 with the conduction of Mariasole Pollio and Max Angioni, directed by Roberto Cenci.
Donations are made through the solidarity number 45596, which will be active until 2 July, or by donating on the Fedez Foundation website.
