Anticipated by individuals January 2016 And I'm from God, When I Least Expect It (EMI Records Italy / Universal Music Italy) is the new album by Tiromancinothe 14th in the studio to be precise.
“When I Least Expect It was born having to fight against someone who didn't have the slightest intention of doing so: myself“, he comments Federico Zampaglione.
Then he adds: “After so many years in music and just as many records, I thought I had given and had enough when it came to releasing new albums. I was determined to only do live concerts, a few singles every now and then and directing films.
Then, as often happens, life doesn't care about your decisions and goes where it wants to go. And that's how, almost for fun, I locked myself in the studio with Leo Pari And Simone Guzzinowith the aim of giving shape to the songs I had written over time. But that's not all! In fact, some friends also took part in the project: Simona Molinari, Mario Donatone And Fabrizio Mandolini.
We recorded in total freedomwithout rush or pressure… I put in all the music I love, without leaving anything out. One fine morning I realized that there were enough songs on my phone to make an album… and that was it. Never was a more appropriate title!”.

The album contains eleven new songs, which combine textual depth and forays into the bluesas well as in rockIn the countryin the'electronicsIn the reggae and in the typical sounds of the songwriting of the 70s.
Each song thus becomes part of a story that holds together theintimacythe fearsthe rebirththe nostalgia of late summer and the complaint of a world increasingly focused on appearances, which leaves little space for passions and real feelings.
And it is precisely within this system that Zampaglione – frontman of Tiromancino – begins to look for a yearning for freedom in the artistic dimension, dreaming of disappearing into the blues.
