
Waiting for the release of the new album, “Curious Ruminant”, scheduled for March 7, the Jethro Tull have released the single “The tipu House”, accompanied by a video directed by Costin Chioreanu. It is the second stretch from the imminent album, after the title track. The song, according to the frontman Ian Anderson, tells a dream in adversity: “Our societies are full of those who have gone from poverty relating to positions of greatness in the world and their successes are a radius of hope for the rest of us, also And if 'greatness' is a relative concept, “he commented.

“Curious Ruminant” will follow the two albums released consecutively in 2022 and 2023: “The Zealot Gene”, the first studio album in over 18 years, or from the release of the Christmas project “The Jethro Tull Christmas Album” of 2003, and “and” Rökflöte “.
“Curious Ruminant” is described by Ian Anderson and companions as a “album made up mainly of pieces played by the entire band”. The lineup will contain “nine new traces of length varying from two and a half minutes to almost seventeen minutes”.
Among the musicians who took part in the project, the ex-tastierist Andrew Giddings and the drummer James Duncan, in addition to the current members of the band: David Goodier, John O'Hara, Scott Hammond and the guitarist Jack Clark, who debuts in this registration with the group.
As the first anticipation of the disc, it is already available to listen to the title trackaccompanied by a video of Costin Chioreanu (who previously created the video of the band for “Ginnungagap” by Rökflöte).
The Jethro Tull are made up of: Ian Anderson (flutes, voice, acoustic guitar, tenor guitar, mandolin), David Goodier (bass), John O'Hara (piano, keyboards, accordion), Scott Hammond (drums) and Jack Clark ( electric guitar). James Duncan (drums, Cajón, percussion) and Andrew Giddings (piano, keyboards, accordion) also played on the disc.
“Curious Ruminant” will be available in different formats, including an Ultra Clear 180g 2LP + 2CD + Blu-ray artbook LTD Deluxe Ultra Clear and a LTD Deluxe 2CD + Blu-ray Artbook. Both contain the main album, alternative stereo mix and a Blu-ray containing Dolby Atmos and 5.1 Surround Sound (once again made by Bruce Soord of The Pineapple Thief), as well as the material of exclusive interviews. The Ltd Deluxe vinyl artbook also includes 2 exclusive artistic prints. The Jethro Tull will be again in concert in Italy next month for three dates: on February 17 at the Arcimboldi Theater in Milan, the day following the Gran Teatro Geox in Padua and on February 20 at the Teatro Cartiere Carrara in Florence.
