Goldie dusts off her historian Aka Rufige Kru to announce the new album Alpha Omega, coming out on May 16. This is anticipated by the single “Still the Same”, which sees the participation of Casisdead and a video clip directed by Elliott Gonzo.
“It was a great honor to work with these legends,” said Gonzo. “The trust that was granted to me allowed me to explore new possibilities by combining animation and virtual production. A special thanks to my co-regista, Buse Simon, for helping me to shape these new worlds”.
For Goldie, “Alpha Omega” is a real artistic rebirth: “We are back to the source, to the essence of this music, to push it towards a new direction”, says the British producer. “I went back to the roots. I spent years to perfect my language, but the same electricity that pushed me to the beginning is still alive. The limit is only my imagination”.
