Les Binks, Judas Priest drummer in the late 1970s, died. He was 73 years old. He missed on March 15, but he only got news a few hours ago thanks to a band's post. The cause of the death is not yet known.

Born in Northern Ireland, who moved to London at the beginning of the 70s, before entering the Judas Priest part, he already had a solid career of drummer, with collaborations with the Few (he is the one who played in the version of Wild Thing Championship by Beastie Boys in 3-MINUITE RULEfrom Paul's Boutique), Eric Burdon, War, Roger Glover of the Deep Purple. Thanks to the latter, he entered Judas Priest for the 1977 world tour, instead of Simon Phillips. With the band he engraved two important records, Staded Class And Killing Machine (known in the United States with a less threatening title than Hell Bent for Leather), both from 1978.
Dissatisfied with the treatment from Session Man and not as a actual member, with the manager of the Mike Dolan group who wanted to deny them every royalties for the 1979 live disk UNLEASHED IN THE EASTBinks left the group and then brings with various groups and artists, including Axis Point, Lionheart, Tytan, Raw Glory.
