Only yesterday Korn announced a date in Italy for 2025; and today also comes the news that new music is coming from the nu metal band.
Guitarist Brian “Head” Welch spoke about it on the podcast Everblack discussed the group's current creative process and when we can expect a new album from them. “We've written most of it, but we're still working on it.”
The clarification comes after Welch himself had said some time ago to Loudwire that a new album could arrive by 2024 (it was 2023): «Yes, we will have new music next year. I'm not sure, for now we're kind of hiding, let's do our thing.” Korn's latest album, Requiemwas released in 2022, and from that moment the bets on the release date of the next work have piled up.
Welch continued: “It's a great story, you see, after thirty years, still being here. We are very happy with what we have, but we will need a little more. I don't know how long: it could be next summer, next year, or next winter, I don't know. But it will be soon.”
