King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard have announced a massive 2024 world tour. The trek begins in March with a string of Lollapalooza performances in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, before they make their way to Europe in the spring and North America in both the late summer and fall. Opening select dates will be Grace Cummings. Find the complete list of their tour dates below.
As previously revealed, four of these shows are billed as “marathon shows” where King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard will perform for three hours each night. Lucky audiences in Forest Hills, New York, on August 17; Chicago, Illinois, on September 1; Quincy, Washington, on September 14; and Austin, Texas, on November 15 will be treated to those special sets.
The tour is in support of the band’s latest album, The Silver Cord, which came out in October. It’s their second album this year, following the thrash-metal record PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation.
