Theoretically it is not news: Lorenzo Jovanotti will make the eight concerts scheduled at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome, the first of which will be held this evening (four other dates are scheduled in the second half of May). It became it after the death of Pope Francis.
The confirmation of the concerts arrived this morning in a story of Instagram by Lorenzo: «The whole team of Palajova arrived in Rome yesterday morning and as we all learned the news of the death of Pope Francis. We will play in Rome from tonight. Many have long planned to participate in these concerts, many arriving in Rome from afar. We will play and make the Roman concerts with all our momentum and our passion of all time ».
“We loved Francesco and above all he wanted to all 9 billion inhabitants of the world, he repeated him every day of his pontificate,” writes Lorenzo whose father, as he is known, mere member of the body of the Vatican gendarmerie. «His presence was a gift for everyone, we will not forget it. We will dedicate our shows to one of the words that Pope Francis has pronounced most often: joy ».
The other concerts are scheduled for 23, 25, 26, 28 and 29 April and 1 and 2 May. Bergoglio's funeral will be held on Saturday 26. For now there is no news from the prefecture of Rome about the need to postpone one or more concerts to optimize the distribution of law enforcement and rescue vehicles.
