After surprisingly releasing the album No NameJack White reveals “live” new details about his latest work. The former White Stripe, during a benefit concert for the American Legion Post 82 in Nashville, shared some information that we did not know. Starting with the titles of the 13 songs.
“I have something special for you at the merch stand upon release,” he told the audience. That “something special” turned out to be the album No Name but no longer white and without track titles, but a blue vinyl with the names of the songs and all the information about the project. For example, the people to whom the album is dedicated, names like Mia Goth, Coco Crisp and Dick Trickle.
What's more, the album now also has a cover, designed by White together with his children and – according to Reddit users – inspired by a photo of Mount Rushmore that White shared on Instagram a few months ago.
Here are the titles of the 13 songs:
Old Scratch Blues
Bless Yourself
That's How I Feel
It's Rough on Rats (If You're Asking)
Archibishop Harold Holmes
Bombing Out
What's the Rumpus?
Tonight (Was a Long Time Ago)
Underground
Number One with a Bullet
Morning at Midnight
Missionary
Terminal Archenemy Endling
