MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE
2026 will mark a special anniversary for millions of fans around the world: twenty years of The Black Parade, the album that established My Chemical Romance as one of the most iconic bands of the 2000s.
To celebrate this milestone, the band led by Gerard Way will be the protagonist of a new world tour that will also stop in Italy, bringing back to the stage the songs that have marked a generation and which still continue to influence artists and fans in every part of the globe.
Released in 2006, The Black Parade was not just a record: it became a cultural manifesto, with its theatrical imagery, powerful sounds and lyrics capable of describing the fragility and strength of being young. Songs like Welcome to the Black Parade, I Don't Love You and Famous Last Words have entered rock history and made My Chemical Romance a true legend of the alternative scene.
The twentieth anniversary tour promises to be a unique experience: a spectacular show, an emotional journey between past and present, which will bring back to the stage all the energy and emotional charge of one of the most loved bands of all time.
My Chemical Romance's sold-out 2025 “Long Live: The Black Parade” tour has now wrapped in North America. Last month, the band made history with its biggest New Jersey performance to date at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, and received the keys to their hometown of Belleville from Mayor Michael Melham. Rolling Stone commented on the show: “My Chemical Romance delivers an electrifying homecoming at Met Life Stadium… Loyal My Chemical Romance fans loved every second of the show and welcomed their local heroes with open arms.”
My Chemical Romance's breakthrough 2006 album, the four-time platinum-selling The Black Parade, recently earned ten new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The album's lead single, “Welcome to the Black Parade,” is now certified 7x platinum, 'Teenagers' is now 6x platinum, “Famous Last Words” is 2x platinum, and “I Don't Love You” and “Mama” have risen to platinum status. Additionally, album tracks “House of Wolves,” “The End.”, “The Sharpest Lives,” “This Is How I Disappear,” and “Disenchanted” are now certified gold.
INTERPOL
Interpol (Paul Banks – vocals and guitar, Daniel Kessler – guitar and Sam Fogarino – drums) were formed in New York in 1998 and, after releasing a series of self-produced EPs, in 2002 they released their debut album “Turn On The Bright Lights” with Matador Records, receiving praise from the public and critics and thus becoming a cult band, leader in the “New” New Wave.
“Antics”, the second album, was released in 2004, after two years in which the band undertook long international tours and worked in the studio on the third recording project “Our Love To Admire”. The album, released in 2007, was recorded for the first time in New York and is the band's most successful album with very high results in the world charts.
After dedicating themselves to solo projects, “Interpol” was released in September 2010, followed by a long tour which included some U2 openings in stadiums. In 2012 a deluxe edition of “Turn On The Bright Lights” was released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the album which includes demos and rarities and two years later, in 2014, the fifth album “El Pintor” was released.
In 2017 the band embarked on a tour to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their first album and in 2018 they released their sixth album “Marauder”, produced by Dave Friedman, followed by “A Fine Mess”, an EP of material recorded during the “Marauder” sessions.
In 2020, the seventh album took shape and saw the band collaborate remotely for the first time due to the global pandemic. In 2021 Interpol reunite to work together on new material in a rented house in the Catskills, before the finishing touches were applied in north London, for the first time alongside veteran Flood (Mark Ellis) and re-teaming with former co-producer Alan Moulder. “The Other Side Of Make-Believe” is released in July 2022 followed by a world tour that took them to Italy in 2023 and 2024.
