Today he Interpol celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic second album, Anticsfirst published on September 27, 2004.
To mark the occasion, the band and Matador Records have made a new reissue available on digital platforms, which includes the album, the new b-side “Direction” (digital exclusive) and a recording of the band's legendary 2005 performance at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, never heard or seen before.
The Antics: 20th Anniversary Edition it will be physically available in three editions:
A 3xLP box set made to order which includes the album, a 30-page photo book and the complete concert at the Palacio de los Deportes. Pre-orders for the box set open today and will close on November 14th. Delivery is scheduled for early 2025.
A reissue on red vinyl limited edition, available in record stores worldwide, out 10/25
An edition limited edition of tricolor LP (red, white, green) exclusively for Mexico
Next fall the band will go on a tour where they will perform Antics in its entirety, with dates expected in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland and the European Union.
