On November 23rd, Alcatraz in Milan hosted one of the most anticipated events of the season: the live de The Dogsthe project by Niccolò Contessa which is back on the scene after years of silence. The concert was part of the tour that accompanied the release of the album Post Mortembringing the artist back to the center of the music scene and rekindling the enthusiasm of fans.
The Milanese event, organized by DNA Concerti, offered a rich and curated show, with a setlist that combined the songs from the new album with the historical tracks of the project. Very positive advances had already circulated in the previous days, and the evening confirmed all expectations.
The new album, released on April 10, 2025, represented a real turning point. Almost ten years later AuroraContessa is back with a darker and more reflective work. Post Mortem he addressed the theme of death as an opportunity to observe fragility, memory and change.
