    Here's How They're Trying to Turn the Sean “Diddy” Combs Affair into a Political Case

    Puff Daddy, aka Sean “Diddy” Combs’ star has been on the wane since last year. First the rape accusations from his ex Cassie, then in April Kesha changed the lyrics to Tik Tok so that the first verse says “fuck P. Diddy” and not “like P. Diddy”. In May, the opening of a Pandora's box on the past of the hip hop guru, between accusations, violence and shootings that began in the 90s.

    The latest act, for now, is the arrest of Combs on September 16 on charges of sexual assault and sex trafficking (others, including witness tampering, have been added shortly thereafter). Given the seriousness of the charges and the notoriety of the character, the affair has predictably attracted a lot of interest. Some are trying to make a political case out of it.

    If in the past few days videos and posts circulating on social media in which various celebrities were compared to Diddy, Donald Trump took care of adding to the load, three days ago he published an old photograph of Kamala Harris artfully altered to show Combs at her side instead of Montel Williams, a former partner of the vice president. The supporters of the Republican candidate obviously chose to ignore the many photographs, those yes real, of Trump with Diddy: on the website of the photo agency Getty Images, for example, they take up three pages. But at that point the “beast” had woken up and the boundary between reality and imagination had vanished.

    At the center of it all are Diddy's infamous parties, the so-called freak-offs during which anything could happen. For example, Diddy would pour champagne on two almost completely naked women. Or the faces of, among others, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lopez (who dated Diddy from 1999 to 2001), Mariah Carey, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jay-Z could be seen around. The stories of legendary sex-and-drug parties now take on a whole new meaning.

    Who was at those parties? What was going on? What is the entertainment elite hiding? As one X user with “Trump” in her name writes, “I don’t think you can be guilty by association” with someone who is, but “where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”

    The line between illicit and legal but immoral behavior by the standards of puritan or fake Americana vanishes and so comes the story of the drug dealer who, scandalized, sees two men having sex in Diddy's villa. Those who were close to the rapper are not only guilty, but are probably complicit in a great Satanist plan. The possible #MeToo of music, as suggested by New York Timesthat is, the emergence of criminal or toxic attitudes in a music business essentially controlled by men, becomes, in the version of Trumpian trolls and activists, the final nail in the coffin of American progressivism.

    One of the targets of attacks by a certain conspiracy galaxy has become Jay-Z, considered the next celebrity to end up in trouble. The friendship and collaboration that have long tied him to Diddy are, for some X users, proof of his guilt. The bigger the lie, the more it is presented in terms of absolute certainty, as in this case:

    Some have also brought up the April death of 36-year-old TikToker Kyle Marisa Roth, who had been following Diddy's case for some time. Some others consider Aaron Carter's disappearance suspicious. Carter, whose label Sony Music Entertainment is parent company of Combs' label, Bad Boy Records, allegedly participated in some of Diddy's freak offs, where he allegedly suffered sexual assault. He was then murdered in 2022 while preparing to report what happened (Carter was found lifeless in the house in California, a medical examiner ruled it was accidental).

    In recent days, many videos of Justin Bieber, who was followed by Diddy since he was a teenager, in the launch phases of his career, have been fished out. They show a very young and apparently disoriented Bieber alongside Combs, with the latter alluding to “unthinkable fun” in a crazy 48 hours.

    Another widely circulated video is of a young Bieber struggling as a woman kisses him on stage at the 2012 American Music Awards and says that “I felt raped.” The woman is Jenny McCarthy, but apparently many X users prefer to think that she is Pink, who is said to be part of the large satanic cult of pedophiles in the entertainment world who vote for Kamala Harris.

    Taylor Swift is also said to be a member of the satanic cult, and in the past she has been considered a tool in the hands of occult forces to manipulate the minds of Americans. Regardless of the fact that the information can be denied in a few seconds, some write that Swift has deleted her profile on X to eliminate any evidence of her involvement in Diddy's cult. The proof of her complicity in the violence? A photo taken with the rapper at the 2023 Video Music Awards. Taylor Swift's X profile is still there, with her 95 million followers. Some report that Usher has also deleted all his tweets. At the moment his profile is active and in his latest tweet he states that the account has been hacked.

    It is not clear what role Kim Kardashian has been assigned in this great conspiracy: for some, who republish a photo of her that was supposedly taken at a Diddy party, she is an accomplice, for others she is an undercover agent called to gather evidence against the rapper and record producer. The key word is rumorsrumors. “There are rumors that…” or “I heard that…” are the formulas used to convey conspiracy fantasies.

    Another key word in this story is list. In fact, there is a Diddylist which, depending on the version, is the list of the singer's clients, considered accomplices of his crimes or in any case suspects, or a secret list of members of the satanic sect. It is often compared to the list of Jeffrey Epstein, the American entrepreneur convicted of crimes similar to those Diddy is accused of.

    In this regard, a video is circulating a lot in which Diddy reads a list of celebrities, from Oprah Winfrey to Jennifer Lopez. For conspiracy theorists, it is the list of members of his sect. It is actually a 2020 video of members of a charity initiative called Team Love Dance-A-Thon for healthcare workers.

    For lack of anything better, a 2020 tweet is also cited and screenshotted in which Harris thanked Diddy for hosting an event called “The State of Black America & Coronavirus” since it is «It is essential to highlight how the coronavirus is perpetuating racial inequality and health disparities.” Below are comments posted in recent days by Trump supporters who hold Harris responsible for the disappearance of over 300,000 American children.

    Conspiracy theories don't end with X alone. According to Maria Bartiromo, a journalist at Fox NewsDiddy's arrest would be nothing more than a way to distract public opinion from Ryan Wesley Routh's failed attack on Trump. Others, however, believe Combs was arrested not to make him answer for the crimes he was accused of, but to make the famous list that allegedly includes the main celebrities in Hollywood and the music world disappear. Others, leveraging the American right-wing theory that Michelle Obama is actually a man, include the former First Lady among Justin Bieber's rapists during the rapper's parties. Hillary Clinton cannot be left out, as she was a senator for the State of New York at the time of the crimes and could not have been unaware of Diddy's sex trafficking.

    The person who will save America from so many evils is obviously Trump. It is the sequel to Pizzagate and it is even uglier than the original.
