The eighth edition of Milan Music Week, the annual event that puts music at the center of the Lombard capital, ended on November 24th. Venerus arrived to celebrate six days of workshops, parties, DJ sets, talks and live shows, with a special concert at the Dazio di Levante of the Arco della Pace as special curator of this edition. And the evening continued with a DJ set by Plastica.
Here are the numbers of this year's Milan Music Week: 84 events organized by the artistic direction (entrusted to Nur Al Habash), over 300 events throughout the city (including the second edition of the SIAE Music Awards, hosted by Amadeus) including moments dedicated to professionals. And then 128 locations involved, an estimated 10,000 participants in the events and an estimated total attendance of 60,000 throughout the edition (last year there were around 40,000). Interest is therefore growing in the topics touched upon during the event, including new technologies and music's relationship with them, inclusiveness, the sustainability of the industry and the role of Italian music beyond national borders.
Many artists were involved (over 200), including Negramaro, La Representative di Lista, Gaia, Pop X, Francesca Michielin. Without forgetting the presence of Carlo Conti, Artistic Director and Host of Sanremo 2025, who on November 21st at the Castello Sforzesco announced some news for the next edition of the Festival (find all the details here).
From next week it will be possible to review the panels, workshops and interviews with the artists on the Milano Music Week YouTube page.
