Born from a deep transformation phase, Chips It collects sparks of life and collision feelings, translating them into a stratified sound and a poetic and visionary narration.
An album entirely, written, played and produced by Giorgio between December 2022 and October 2024 and recorded in Rome – his city, where he returned to live after 17 years of absence – with the friendly supervision of Laurent Brancowitz of the Phoenixthe tip of diamond of the French panorama of the last decades and for years deeply fascinated by the music of the Roman singer -songwriter.
Nine songs that are precise snapshots, small surreal and poetic paintings, dotted with irony and lightning colds. A journey through scenarios from magical realism, with details that seem stolen from a daydream, transforming the instability into motion, the research in freedom: “I like to feel exploded, released, shot away with everything and everyone – says the Roman artist – A splinter of other infinite splinters “.
Anticipated by the individual Men against insects, Chips It oscillates between melodies that resonate in the lead from the first listening, delicate ballads, sought -after sounds and that unmistakable sensitivity that made Giorgio then one of the most appreciated songwriters of the Italian scene inside and outside our borders.
Giorgio will then present the live album with a European tour, which will start on 9 May from Berlin and it will be up to Brussels 11, 11, Paris 12 and London May 13th.
