Black Friday has always been a great time to save on tech, clothing, and gifts for the holiday, but now streamers are throwing their hat in the ring, too.
Today, Hulu dropped two of the best streaming deals we’ve seen all year to celebrate Black Friday. The two deals allow new and existing Hulu subscribers to get the HBO Max or STARZ add-on for just $2.99 a month for 12 months. The HBO Max Hulu add-on is normally $9.99, and the STARZ add-on is usually $10.99, which means you’re saving a whopping 70% on HBO Max and 73% on STARZ.
The HBO Max and STARZ with Hulu deals are live now through Dec. 1, so you’ll want to take advantage of these savings quickly. Read on for more details on each Black Friday deal below.
HBO Max on Hulu Black Friday Deal
The current HBO Max deal on Hulu brings the price of the add-on down from $9.99 a month to $2.99 a month. The discounted price will last for 12 months. After that, the add-on will return to the current regular monthly price.
HBO Max on Hulu Deal
Deal ends Dec. 1
The HBO Max deal is available to new and eligible existing subscribers with a Hulu Trio package (one that includes Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN). If you’re subscribed to a standalone plan or a Hulu Duo plan (one with Hulu and Disney+), you’ll need to upgrade to access the HBO Max add-on discount.
STARZ on Hulu Black Friday Deal
The STARZ Black Friday deal on Hulu gets you the add-on for just $2.99 a month for 12 months. The premium add-on is normally $10.99 a month, plus your base package, which means the deal saves you 73%. After the 12 months, the add-on returns to that original price or the then-current regular monthly price.
STARZ on Hulu Deal
Deal ends Dec. 1
The STARZ deal is available to new and eligible existing Hulu subscribers. Unlike the HBO Max deal, the STARZ discount is available to Hulu subscribers with Duo or Tro plans.
How Much Is a Hulu Base Plan?
If you’re not already a Hulu subscriber, now is the time to sign up with the current HBO Max and STARZ discounts.
The STARZ discount is available with either a Hulu Duo or Trio plan. The Duo plans, which include Disney+ as well as Hulu, start at $12.99 a month. The HBO Max deal is only available with a Trio plan; these start at $19.99 a month.
Even without the Black Friday HBO Max and STARZ discounts, Hulu is a great value. The service carries hit original series like Only Murders in the Building, The Bear, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Shōgun, plus thousands of movies.
