Gabry Ponte began his career officially in 1998 when he produces “Blue (from Ba Dee)”, the debut single with the Eiffel 65, Which scales the world rankings and sells over 8 million copies. The single follows the first album “Europop” which sells another 4 million copies. In 2000 the artist wins the European Music Awards as “Best Italian artist in the world”.
In the meantime, he began his solo career and his first singles and remixes immediately appear in the European charts. In 2014 he entered the top 100 DJ ranking at number 61. In summer 2019 he co-produces European success “Monster” (over 350 million streams on Spotify) together with the young Austrian producer Lum! X.
With over 680 million streams only on Spotify and over 250 million views on YouTube, the “Thunder” hit with Lum! X and precious scale the Italian and international charts. Not only that, Thunder appears in the famous Billboard Top200 of 2021, A prestigious goal that Gabry Ponte had already reached in January 2000 with Blue (from Ba Dee) together with his Eiffel65 group.
The song conquers 1 diamond album in France, 2 platinum in Italy and is platinum in Sweden (X3), Norway (X3), Netherlands, Poland (X2), Austria, Denmark, Switzerland (X2), Finland and Canada. Thunder was awarded the best song in the online category at the SIAE Music Awards 2023.
In June 2022 Gabry Ponte's single comes out with Lum! X Feat. Daddy Dj “We Could Be Together”, gold certificate in Italy, Holland, Belgium and France, and in August of the same year “I'm good (Blue)” by David Guetta He earns a grammy nomination, making “Blue” become the first song in history to receive two Grammy nominations such as Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
With over 5 Millions of users on social/digital platforms, Gabry appears in the prestigious “climax” ranking that certifies the most followed DJs in the world. In the 2024 edition of the Climax Gabry ranking it rose from #51 of 2023 to #42. In 2024 Gabry Ponte entered the official Top 101 Producers ranking, for the most listened DJ producer in the world, drawn up by 1001 tracklist, at position #56.
In 2024 the singles come out “Mockingbird“With Tiesto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike,”Save me”With Steve Aoki and Kel and”Born To Love Ya“With Sean Paul and Natti Natasha.
From a live point of view, in the two -year period 2023/2024 Gabry Ponte performed over 150 times in 13 countries making over 1,500,000 people dance. In the last two years he has been the protagonist of a tour with important dates in Italy and abroad (including: Unreal Festival – Riga, Saga Festival – Bucharest, Ushaia, Ibiza, Parookaville2023 – Weeze, Tomorrowland 2023 – Boom and Cavo Paradiso – Mykonos). In 2024, Gabry Ponte celebrated 25 years of career with an epic tour that inflamed the largest Italian arenas (Unipol Forum Milano, Unipol Arena Bologna, Inalpi Arena Turin, Rock in Rome 2024) Recording Sold-Out anywhere thanks to a breathtaking show. It is back from the performance of 13 October at the Tomorrowland Brasil which saw him protagonist alongside the big names of the international dance panorama.
In January 2025 it was published “All of Italy”, Chosen as Jingle of the 75th edition of the Sanremo Festival. In May he represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 In Basel. He recently published his autobiography “Dance & Love, my music, my life“.
