With the highly anticipated concert on May 29th by Metallica, for which over 70,000 tickets were sold, the I-Days Milano Coca-Cola begin at the Snai La Maura Hippodrome. For James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo it will be the largest concert in Italy also in terms of space, with the iconic “snake pit” created in the center of the stage for a small number of spectators. Before the most famous heavy metal band on the planet, opening with the American metalcore of Ice Nine Kills and the alternative metal of Five Finger Death Punch.
Tuesday 4 June we change the tune with Lana Del Rey to take the stage at the Snai La Maura Hippodrome, in what will be the largest concert held by the New York singer-songwriter in Italy. To open the evening the producer Dardust and Clara.
The protagonists of Sunday 16 June, again at the Snai La Maura Hippodrome, will be the Green Day in the only Italian date of their tour. Even for the Californian band, a punk-rock institution, the one in Milan – say the organizers – marks a record number of tickets sold for a concert in Italy. During the live show they will celebrate the anniversary of the release of their two most successful albums, “Dookie” (30 years) and “American Idiot” (20 years), and will present songs from the new album “Saviors”. Before them on stage i Nothing But Thieves.
Thursday 27 June will land in Milan Doja Catthe first female rapper headliner of the I-Days. To complete the lineup all-female BigMama and the American singer-songwriter Hemlocke Springs.
On June 29th it's the turn of Tedua present the songs from “Paradiso” live for the first time, out on May 24th. Saturday 6 July they will be i Queens Of The Stone Age, at the top of world rock for twenty years, to ignite the Milan audience. Another day of rock on Sunday 7 July, with the headliners Bring Me The Horizon, while the pop-punk event on 9 July with the Sum 41 And Avril Lavigne. To close this edition of the I-Days the Stray Kidsa band symbol of the global K-pop phenomenon, for the first time in Italy on July 12th for their only headlining concert in Europe in 2024.
