On 13 February 2026 the Concordia Theater in Venaria Reale was transformed into the temple of authorial music for one of the most awaited stops of the tour dedicated to fifty years of Rimmel. In a packed and strictly sold out club, Francesco De Gregori demonstrated that his 1975 masterpiece still has a disarming relevance today, capable of uniting different generations in an almost religious listening experience.
Accompanied by his faithful band, the “Prince” guided the audience through an impeccable narrative journey, alternating the depth of Travel companions to the collective emotion of The football draft of the class of '68.
The celebration of Rimmel reached the emotional peak in the central part of the concert, where milestones such as Four dogs, Pieces of glass and the title track itself resonated with a surprising freshness.
De Gregori was able to expertly measure the irony of Mr. Hood and the sweetness of Small appleconfirming his unparalleled ability to transform each song into a vivid picture of human stories.
The finale was a crescendo of great classics, from Alice to a powerful one Generaluntil the inevitable Buffalo Bill. For the encores, Concordia dissolved in a final embrace on the notes of Always and forever and one Goodnight little flower sung in unison by the entire room. The Turin triumph is definitive proof that this poetry in music never gets old, confirming the central role of Francesco De Gregori in the Italian cultural panorama.
