It came out today and will be on the radio from February 20th “YOUR FAVORITE TOY”, the new single by FOO FIGHTERS, taken from the new album of the same nameout April 24th (Roswell Records/RCA Records) and available for pre-order today.
“YOUR FAVORITE TOY” it is a song that insinuates itself into the mind and never leaves it: sharp guitars and sinister keyboard thrusts intertwine over a pressing rhythm, while Dave Grohl in the chorus gives vent to a new vocal timbre, more biting and sarcastic.
Dave Grohl commented: «“Your Favorite Toy” was really the key to defining the sound of the new album. It was born almost by chance, after over a year spent experimenting with different sounds, and the day it took shape I knew we had to follow that direction. It was the spark that gave life to the set of songs we recorded for this album. It has a new energy».
The song offers a first taste of the band's new album, which in addition to having the same name as the single, fully reflects its spirit, bringing “YOUR FAVORITE TOY” to be immediately and unequivocally in the style of FOO FIGHTERS.
Anticipated by singles “Asking For A Friend” And “Your Favorite Toy“, the album “Your favorite toy” was recorded entirely at home. The album is co-produced by Foo Fighters together with Oliver Romanwith sound engineering handled by Oliver Roman and the mixing entrusted to Mark “Spike” Stent.
