The song deals with a very delicate topic, the artist has in fact decided to set to music a news story that shocked the United States of America and the entire world in the summer of 2022; Corriere della Sera reports this:
“Three days after the Supreme Court's decision to cancel the historic ruling on the right to abortion, Caitlin Bernand, a gynecologist from Indianapolis, receives a call from a colleague in a neighboring state, Ohio: there is a 10-year-old girl rape victim, pregnant.”
“Eve and Adam” tells precisely this terrible story: it is the story of a 10-year-old girl who, after becoming pregnant following violence, had to face a long and difficult journey to be able to terminate the pregnancy, following the cancellation of the ruling on the right to abortion.
Martina Attili as always, thanks to his unique pen, he manages to tackle important themes with great sensitivity, managing to perfectly convey all the vulnerability and violence present in stories like this.
The singer-songwriter returns with the new single after “Meloncholy“, released in May this year and “Blue eyes“, released last October, which talks about the last goodbye between a father and a daughter. He is currently also working on his second book, after his first novel “Bitter kisses and signature music” published in 2020.
