Last days of waiting for the 2024 edition ofEurovision Song Contest, the largest singing competition on the planet, scheduled for this year at the Malmö Arena in Malmo (Sweden) after the victory of Loreen just a year ago.
There will be 37 nations that will compete in the three evenings of this edition of Eurovision, always in pursuit of the coveted crystal microphone and the possibility of hosting the event for the 2025 edition. As usual, we offer you our guide (here the first and second part) listening to the songs in the competition, to begin to get to know the artists and singers who will challenge Angelina Mango And Boredom on stage in Malmö.
The rules of the game don't change: this year too we listened to all the competing proposals, which we will present in a short summary review of each song combined with one star rating (from one ☆ to five ☆☆☆☆☆) which marks each nation's chances of victory.
L'Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be broadcast from Malmo Arena Of Malmo (Sweden), with the two semi-finals broadcast on Rai 2 Tuesday 7 and Thursday 9 May at 9.00 pm while the final will be broadcast by Rai 1 Saturday 11 May at 8.40pm.
Twenty-six nations, includingItaly (admitted by right as a member of the Big 5, the five nations that contribute most to the EBU's finances), will be the ones qualified for the final stage of the event. For the first time in the history of Eurovision, the Big 5 will perform live and in full in one of the two semi-finals: we will therefore see Italy on Thursday evening, in which we will also be called to televote the countries competing in the second semi-final .
