Twenty -one years after their last tour in continental Europe, the Mclusky have announced a series of dates, of which three Italians: the first will see our performing at the Lars Rock Festival of Chiusi in July, while the other two will lead them on the stage of the Covo Club of Bologna and the ARCIe beauty of Milan this autumn. The rough Welsh trio, between Punk and Indie-Rock, born in 1998 and led by Andrew Falkous is about to return to the scene with “The World Is Still here and So Are We”, a fourth work in the studio scheduled for May. The record debut dates back to 2000 with “My Pain and Sadness Is More Sad and Painful Than Yours”, followed by the acclaimed “Mclusky Do Dallas” (2002), produced by Steve Albini; After the third album “The Difference Bethaeen Me and you is That I'm not on Fire” (2004), the band melts in 2005. Falkous is later formed the Future of the Left. Since 2015 the group begins to make some reunionfirst as Mclusky*, then recovering the original name; In 2023 he published “Unpopular Parts of a Pig”, the first unpublished in nineteen years as well as the actual anticipation of the fourth album.
