Eminem continues to build up to the release of his next album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace) scheduled for this Friday, July 12th.
After having published in the last few days Houdinia single in which the video clip returned to his alter ego Slim Shady by quoting himself (the entire video is based on his Without Me of 2002), this time it's the turn of Tobeya track in which the rapper is accompanied by Big Sean and BabyTron for an all-Michigan trio.
The song, which in its artwork takes up the famous meme of the double Spiderman, is accompanied by a video directed by Cole Bennett (already working with Eminem in Godzilla And Gnat) in which the three rappers are immersed in a series of CGI worlds. The most striking scene is the one in which a character dressed as Jason Voorhees, the serial killer from Friday the 13th, attacks Eminem from behind to cut him in two with a chainsaw. But who is hiding behind the mask? Of course, Eminem himself, who symbolically kills himself on stage.
