With roots in Puglia and a gaze that embraces the world, Diego Ceo he belongs to that generation of Italian producers capable of taking the lo-fi beats aesthetic beyond the boundaries of the genre. His instrumentals have traveled everywhere, crossing playlists and time zones.
'When I started to set up my Home Studio, I embraced the common thought of wanting to make a home environment professional. Over time, this place has grown with me and, more than a work environment, has become an extension of my mind. Every sensation that I wanted to bring in here is reworked by musical thought. The Tidale Live Session is an example of how this place welcomes crucial moments and promptly transforms them into new emotional and musical nuances'.
First single of a record expected for spring 2026, the title refers to the rhythm tidalthe typical oscillation of the tides, that cycle that passes through the peaks of low and high tide: a constant alternation of empty and full, of advances and retreats. The same pulsation that runs through the song, a mobile balance between tension and stillness, presence and absence.
The song was born as a response to a story collected by the artist: that of a loved one who lived in Triestea city of constant wind and a sea that never stops talking. From that memory the imagery of the piece takes shape, a story about change and permanence, about what remains when everything moves. Musically,”Tidal” was born from a few unrolled notes of electric guitar, with an emo flavouronto which a voice filtered by a vocoder is grafted which blurs its contours. An essential drumming grows underneath which progressively opens up, but always remains restrained. The sound is crossed by a constant echo that holds together the energy and melancholy, the concreteness and the breath of the sea.
