CURSE (live)

Romantic post-punk and body music from Berlin. Curses live are Luca Venezia on guitar/vocals and Dame Bonnet on bass: a visceral connection between dark and melancholic eighties pop and the DIY energy of early EBM. With 2 albums on Dischi Autunno, they have released a special edition of “Incarnadine” (2022) for the fashion brand Saint Laurent and music for the video campaigns of Dior, Raf Simons and Calvin Klein. The live shows are always different, between early-kraut-rock improvisations and the music contained in the albums. Preceded by the singles “Elegant Death” and “Another Heaven”, the new album will be released in September for Italians Do It Better.

SUFFOCATION (only Italian date)

Thursday, July 25 is the day of the Italian exclusive of Suffocation's 2024 world tour. New York Death Metal Giants will present their ninth album, “Hymns from the Apocrypha”, the first with the new voice Rick Myers, for a single Italian date. With more than three decades of career and thousands of shows behind them, this band has proven to be a dominant force on the global death scene. Tracks like “Seraphim Enslavement” and “Immortal Execration” demonstrate the intensity and mastery with which they redefine the boundaries of the genre with progressive melodies. Even if the announcement has already been spoiled, don't worry, the free admission live experience is not going to be taken away from you.

The BLACK HEART PROCESSION

Discover the dark side of California rock with The Black Heart Procession, the San Diego band that redefined the clichés of California's sun-and-beach music. This hybrid of folk-blues and gothic-decadent spleen transforms the traditions of roots music into modern and evocative ballads, imbued with a unique darkness. Known as the “Calexico of Darkness”, The Black Heart Procession are a enigmatic force in the US indie-rock scene. Their music, dark and desolate, is a fascinating exploration of the darkest and most contaminated forms of musical expression. With six globally acclaimed albums and a distinctive voice in the independent rock scene, they will return to Italy for an unforgettable tour in July 2024. Known for their melancholic and crepuscular ballads that transcend country and blues traditions, The Black Heart Procession have a contrasting timbre that is deeply shadowy and mesmerizing.

DWARVES

Formed in Chicago in 1985 and directly from San Francisco, the Dwarves. With a musical path that has crossed the hardcore punk of the beginning until evolving into a more accessible pop punk, with garage and thrash noteshas never ceased to amaze. With over a thousand concerts under their belt, more than a dozen albums to their credit, and appearances on hundreds of film soundtracks, television shows, skate videos, and multimedia productions, Dwarves have continued to define the spirit of punk rock since their inception. Known for their ever-changing cast of memorable characters (including Nick Oliveri of Kyuss and Queens Of The Stone Age) and relentless live performances, the band is led by charismatic singer Blag Dahlia, who calls Dwarves “The Last Punk Band.”

The historic rock group from Trevisowill headline the closing night of the 2024 edition. Opening for The Cure in 1998, alongside Marlene Kuntz and Cornershop, Estra have a long and colorful career that reflects the evolution of their unique style and the depth of their lyrics. Since their debut in 1991, the band has won over audiences and critics with a authorial rock, characterized by poetic lyrics and untamed riffs. Their discography ranges from early successes like the demo “Mentre il mondo era fuori”, through the masterpiece “Nordest Cowboys” produced by Jim Wilson, up to the latest effort “Gli anni venti”, made possible thanks to a crowdfunding that reached its goal in record time. With decades of music behind them, Estra maintain their passion and creativity intact, promising a revival evening that will touch the hearts of their long-time fans.
