The Cure have announced the release of a single. It is an eco-friendly 12-inch vinyl. It will be released on October 1st in a limited edition of 5000 copies (100 of which are signed by Robert Smith) for the Naked Record Club and will raise funds for the environmental organization EarthPercent. Title: November: Live in France 2022.
The single will contain two songs, And Nothing Is Forever And I Can Never Say Goodbye in live version, recorded in France in 2022. These are two songs that are thought to be part of the long-awaited new album by The Cure Songs of a Lost World which has been talked about for a long time (a long, too long) and whose release date has not yet been announced. The band has already performed various other unreleased pieces in concert such as A Fragile Thing, Endsong, Another Happy Birthday.
“I want people to listen to it from the first song to the last, to be transported somewhere else,” Smith said some time ago about the album. We are ready to take this trip: you tell us when we leave, Robert.
