Alessia Pensalfini in art Crista she is an irreverent rock singer-songwriter, from Romagna who has no problems calling things by their name, putting the thoughts and words of a free woman into music. “As a child my best friends were my grandmother's chickens, I think all my thoughts were strongly influenced by that association”. From this quote you can understand a lot about her approach to the musical universe: that of a singer-songwriter who doesn't take herself too seriously.
Musically speaking, the style of Crista mixes rock and punk influences without forgetting the glorious melodic past of Italian song. His simple and equally pungent lyrics can be defined as a sort of auteur pop that completely breaks away from the guidelines of the fashion of the moment.
He shared the stage with artists such as Caparezza, Vinicio Capossela, Zen Circus, Giorgio Canali, Levante and participated in some important Italian festivals including the Home Festival in Treviso, collecting numerous dates around the country. “Non mi piaci” is the third album of his career after the debut EP of the same name in 2017 and “Female” of 2019, the latter produced by the legendary Manuele Fusaroli (The Zen Circus, Management Of Post-Operative Pain, Le Luci Della Centrale Elettrica).
Anticipated by individuals “Crazy Horse” And “Let it be” (the first rock and irreverent, the second melancholic and disillusioned), the album is available in streaming and digital download on the main platforms.
