“I am thrilled to welcome the legendary Iggy Pop back to our festival after 15 years. Last time, he invited a dozen fans from the front rows of the stage to dance along with him and the Stooges. Who knows what surprises this year will have in store for us? Iggy has been a force on stage for almost 50 years and continues to command attention both in the studio and in live performances,” says Artistic Director of Colors of Ostrava, Zlata Holušová. Iggy Pop will perform alongside artists such as The Chainsmokers, Justice and Alvaro Soler, demonstrating the festival's commitment to creating diversity between musical genres and types of shows. As always, the program will feature lots of music but also theatre, circus, talks and much more.
The French duo Justice will return to Ostrava. Known for their impressive technical set ups, Justice made their Czech debut at Colors in 2017. This time, they will bring a new audiovisual show and their latest album, Hyperdramaa highly anticipated release after eight years. Fans have been waiting for both this new album and Justice's second appearance at Colors of Ostrava.
Alvaro Solerwho is based in Germany, will make his debut in the Moravian-Silesian region. With roots in Latin American music, Soler brings influences from his Spanish heritage, delighting fans with hits like “Sofia” and “La Belt,” as well as catchy new tunes.
Local talent will also shine in this year's program. Calinone of the most popular singers in the Czech Republic, will give his only performance in the region for the upcoming summer season. After his very successful autumn tour for the latest album Bieber FeverCalin will have more space at Colors of Ostrava to present a show created especially for the festival. Dan Bárta & Illustratosphere they will also celebrate a major milestone, marking 25 years since their debut album.
For the first time, Colors of Ostrava introduces i FRESH ticketsspecifically for the age range 15-21 yearsreflecting a strengthened focus on younger audiences. “Next year, we will take the Fresh stage to a whole new level, with a richer program featuring the best of electronic, rap and global discoveries. We will add more lights, more confetti and more unforgettable moments,” says Filip Košťálek, the Chief Programmer of the festival.
FRESH tickets are available in limited quantities, with 1,000 discounted tickets priced at €104.00. Regular four-day passes are now on sale for €166.00, along with VIP and child-friendly tickets. Options for staying in the various campsites are also available, with additional services and Glamping solutions.
