Chris Stapleton, Jelly Roll, and Shaboozey are all slated to perform at EA Sports' Madden Bowl two days before Super Bowl LIX gets underway. Fresh off his first-ever Number One hit on the US Country Radio chart with “Wind up Missin' You,” Tucker Wetmore will kick off the festivities alongside Trombone Shorty and the New Breed Brass Band at the Orpheum Theater.
“I grew up on Madden NFL and EA SPORTS games,” Wetmore tells Rolling Stone. “So, to go from being a kid playing Madden in his room to perform on the brand's biggest stage alongside some of the biggest artists in music at one of the most iconic events of Super Bowl week, is incredible.”
Last year's Madden Bowl in Las Vegas featured performances from Green Day, Big Boi and Killer Mike, and BRELAND. This year, big game weekend heads down south to The Big Easy. New Orleans, a city incredibly rich in music from Louis Armstrong to Lil Wayne, will host its first Super Bowl since 2013 at the Caesars Superdome. “New Orleans is one of the greatest and most passionate sports cities in the world,” EA Sports' John Reseburg says while discussing the Madden Bowl lineup.
Football fans are no stranger to Shaboozey. He's been a mainstay at NFL games throughout this season, first with his own halftime performance at the Detroit Lions' Thanksgiving Day game and then popping out during Beyoncé's epic halftime Christmas Day set in Houston. It'll be interesting to see if those same Lions, who hold the NFL's best regular-season record, can make it to Super Bowl LIX and get a second round of “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
Since 1988, Madden NFL has been a fixture in the sports video game world. Named after the late former Oakland Raiders head coach and legendary commentator John Madden, the game is part of EA Sports' portfolio amongst titles like FC 25 (soccer), NHL 25 (hockey), and the viral College Football 25.

Great news: This year's iteration of the video game, Madden NFL 25is marked down by 44 percent for the standard version. So if you're not happy with the AFC and NFC representatives who meet in New Orleans, play the game and make some new ones.
At the Madden Bowl, EA Sports will crown the winner of its e-sports Madden NFL Championship Series, dividing up $1 million of prize money to the best players in the country. After the event, EA Sports will hold a 99 Club After Party, named after the highest rating you can be given across the brand's portfolio of games. Snoop Dogg, aka DJ Snoopadelic, is the frontrunner to headline.
The Madden Bowl won't be music fans' only chance to catch their favorite stars during Super Bowl week in New Orleans. Rob Gronkowski's annual Gronk Beach is sure to make its annual pop-up, we're predicting Los Angeles-based hospitality group h.wood Group will bring out rap's biggest stars, and then Kendrick Lamar will perform at the Super Bowl LIX Apple Music halftime show.
