The British star of rap Central EEC It arrived in Italy with a single appointment on April 10, 2025 at the Fabrique in Milan with the only Italian date of the Central Cee: Can't Rush Greatness Tour.
The new album
His highly anticipated debut album “Can't Rush Greatness” (available here in CD and Vinyl as well as digital), anticipated by the single “GBP” in collaboration with the American rapper 21 Savage, was released on Friday 24 January 2025.
Recorded in several parts of the world over the last year, “Can't Rush Greatness” boasts collaboration with numerous beatmakers, including his long -term collaborator Dave, and marks a fundamental step in the career of the British rapper.
In fact, the album arrives after its two previous mixtapes, “Wild West” and “23” and songs “Doja”, “Band 4 Band” and “Obsesed with you”, which dominated the rankings and streaming platforms around the world. 2024 was an extraordinary year for Central EEC, who was forcefully affirmed on the music scene, and “Can't Rush Greatness” arrives at the end of an exceptional year for the young British artist. The single “Band4band” in collaboration with Lil Baby was one of the most listened rap songs of the year globally, allowing Central EEC to reach a historic milestone in the United States: it was the single British rap positioned higher in the hot 100, and the first to conquer the summit of the Urban and Rhythmic radio charts. It is also the best -selling rap song in the United Kingdom in 2024, with 390 million streams. The success of Central Cee is unstoppable, as demonstrated by his song “Sprinter”, the most listened track on Spotify UK of 2023 and the only rap song by a British artist to maintain the first position for 10 consecutive weeks. Central EEC is also the first British rapper to exceed 2 billion streams on Spotify. Then after the viral success of his merch Syna and collaborations with international giants such as Nike and Trapstar, Central EEC continues to overcome the boundaries both musically and culturally.
In “GBP”, Central EEC and 21 Savage alternately exchanging sharp verses and perfectly merging British and American rap culture. On a hypnotic vocal sample and a powerful base, Central EEC draws from the relentless energy of 21 Savage to reflect on its path, from its humble origins to the international fame achieved, while remaining anchored to the reality of street life and the theme of the generational struggle.
Central EEC is also the first British rapper to exceed 2 billion streams on Spotify, to date “Can't Rush Greatness” is the best debut of the year for a rap disc.
