There is a new video from CCCP. It is the one from Wavesan unreleased track included in the live album Anything but new newa very lively museum piece, as we defined it six months ago in the review.
The video, very simple, was made not with vintage images, but with those of CCCP in Fellegara, in the province of Reggio Emilia, where the farmhouse where the band originated is located. The images, here in a new edit, were shot for the exhibition Congratulations from SMK Factory.
The album is the recording of the very first CCCP concert in the gym of an Arci club in Reggio Emilia in June 1983 with Giovanni Lindo Ferretti, Massimo Zamboni, the bassist Umberto Negri (here is our interview) and the drummer Agostino Giudici, not yet Annarella and Fatur. Waves it was also used to soundtrack one of the installations of the exhibition on the group in Reggio Emilia.
This evening the tour of the reborn CCCP will end in Mantua (Esedra Palazzo Te). And now?
