Calvin Harris is coming back to Vegas.
The Grammy-winning DJ and producer is debuting a brand new residency at LIV Las Vegas and LIV Beach, inside the newly-opened Fontainebleau Resort. The residency kicked off during Super Bowl weekend with an invite-only party at LIV, and will pick up again in March. Six dates have currently been announced for Harris’ residency, which will run until December.
The new residency will include performances by Harris at both the LIV nightclub (an expansion of the original LIV inside Fontainebleau Miami Beach) and LIV Beach, a new outdoor day club set to debut in March. The Fontainebleau says, “Fans can expect an audio-visual journey through Harris’ expansive catalog of hits and collaborations.” Tickets are available now on Vivid Seats. Harris is no stranger to Vegas, having previously performed at the Wynn, Omina Nightclub inside Caesars Palace, and Zouk Nightclub and AYU Dayclub at Resorts World, among other venues. Still, the DJ revealed that the weekly gigs and constant travel (between Vegas and the UK) ended up robbing him of his creativity. The new Fontainebleau residency will hopefully offer a better pace, with just six shows currently scheduled.
“I can’t wait to get back to Las Vegas,” Harris says in a press release. “LIV looks amazing and I’m excited to be part of what’s going on there.”
“Together with Fontainebleau Las Vegas, it’s a huge honor to welcome Calvins Harris to his residency at LIV and LIV Beach,” adds David Grutman, founder of Groot Hospitality, which owns the LIV brand. “Calvin is one of the most respected in the industry, and he knows how to put on an incredible show. I can’t wait for our guests to experience what Calvin can do, and to add another dimension to LIV Las Vegas’ already impressive roster of the world’s most renowned DJs.”
Harris joins Tiësto, John Summit, Metro Boomin’, Party Favor, James Kennedy and Dom Dolla as LIV Las Vegas and LIV Beach debut resident artists in 2024. The DJ is currently working on the follow up to 2022’s Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2, which featured collaborations with Dua Lipa, Justin Timberlake and 21 Savage, among others.
