The Pokémon Company just debuted their “What’s Your Favorite?” campaign during Super Bowl LX, kicking off a celebration of 30 years of Pokémon with a few very special guests.
The Super Bowl spot featured Blackpink star Jisoo alongside Lady Gaga (singing with her favorite, Jigglypuff), Spanish soccer star Lamine Yamal, Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc, recent Grammys host Trevor Noah, plus Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Young Miko, showcasing the diversity and multi-generational appeal reflective of the global Pokémon community.

Now, fans can join in on the fun by choosing their favorite Pokémon to feature in their photos similar to the stars featured in the game day spot, all thanks to a new camera feature through Pokémon GO. Additionally, The Pokémon Company International will host “Day Out” and “Night Out” experiences throughout the year to celebrate this milestone anniversary. More information will be available on the official campaign website.
In addition to Jisoo’s involvement in the “What’s Your Favorite?” campaign, Rolling Stone has exclusively learned that The Pokémon Company will be launching an exclusive licensed merchandise line in collaboration with the singer — an exciting moment as Jisoo has been seen collecting and posting with Pokémon accessories throughout her career.

Pokemon Eevee Kigurumi Hat
This Eevee hat fits most adult head sizes with a velcro strap.
Jisoo has shared on social media platforms photos of her favorite, Eevee, and has been seen accessorizing her bag with Eevee keychains in the past, so this comes as no surprise.
Taito Okiura, vice president of marketing and media at The Pokémon Company International, shared with Rolling Stone that Jisoo was selected for the campaign due to her “undeniable talent, star power, and global appeal, connecting with audiences through her artistry and authentic presence. That, paired with her genuine affinity for the Pokémon brand and Eevee, made her a perfect addition to our ‘What’s Your Favorite?’ talent roster,” he says.
Jisoo just wrapped the Deadline World Tour with Blackpink and the group has announced that new music from the four-some is finally coming, with their new mini album Deadline dropping on February 27.

Rolling Stone caught up with Jisoo to chat about her love of Pokémon, her new company with the toy company and what she’s looking forward to for the rest of 2026.
What is your first memory of Pokémon?
My first memory of Pokémon is watching the animated series when I was young and feeling completely drawn into it. It felt fun and a little strange in a good way, like a small world I could step into after a long day.

You chose Eevee as your favorite Pokémon, one that is unique with its different evolutions. Out of all of its evolutions, which is your favorite and why?
I like Sylveon the most because it looks soft and sweet, but it’s actually very strong. I think that contrast makes it more interesting and a little unexpected.
Was Eevee always your favorite?
I liked Eevee right away because it’s so cute. But I grew to like it even more after fans started saying it reminded them of me. Over time, hearing that made me feel a personal connection with Eevee.
Is there anything about how Eevee can evolve into different Pokémon that speaks to you at this point in your career?
Eevee has many different paths it can evolve into, depending on its surrounding conditions. I relate to that in the sense that growth doesn’t feel like becoming someone else, but gradually uncovering different sides of who I already am as I move through different moments in my life.

Pokémon #0133
Pokemon Cuddly Eevee Plush
An eight-inch soft and smooth plush toy.
If you had to create your own Pokémon, what type of personality would it have and what would you name it?
I think it would look very gentle and harmless at first, but when it puts its mind to something and makes a decision, it would be surprisingly stubborn and strong. I like characters that feel calm on the surface, but have quiet strength and determination underneath.
The “What’s Your Favorite” campaign features so many top stars across music, acting and sports. How does it feel to be part of such a major campaign?
It feels exciting, but also very natural, because Pokémon is something so many people already feel emotionally connected to. It was nice to be part of a campaign that feels more playful and nostalgic than intimidating.
What can fans expect from you in 2026?
In 2026, I want to continue exploring and challenging myself in new ways, without rushing anything. I hope that what I share next feels sincere, and that fans can sense my curiosity and growth through whatever it may be.
