After the announcement in recent days linked to the tracklist of Tutto è Possible, his new album due out on Friday 16 January, Geolier has released the long-awaited and surprising featuring with 50 Cent.
Phantomthe song that combines Geolier's Neapolitan flow with Fifty's American flow, was in fact released during the night. Produced by Lazza and Low Kidd, the song takes us musically back to 50 Cent's golden period, that of G-Unit in the mid-2000s. This collaboration marks a historic moment in the career of Geolier and hip-hop in Italy: it is Italian rap that meets American rap, Naples that meets New York.
The song seems to have been published early due to the online leak of the track, as implied by a like from the Neapolitan rapper on TikTok to a comment that said: “The most awaited song by Emanuele. You managed to get it released first. Endless shame”.
