From the February 6, 2026 the new single from is available in digital stores Borghese Cosmonauts. The song is titled Polypropylene and it is a reflection – critical and ironic – on appearing at all costs.
The single is the beginning of a musical journey that will lead to the publication of the new album Borghese Cosmonauts. The release is scheduled for this year; and the band has been busy in the recording studio in recent weeks.
During this last year and a half, i Borghese Cosmonauts they have lived many important experiences such as Sanremo Youth, X FactorThe May Day Concert to Rome. And again, during the summer they held over 20 dates showing their passion for live music and the desire to be on stage.
After the release of the song Les Friques to July 2025the band dedicated themselves to writing new songs. From this artistic production session the pieces that will make up the next unreleased album were born. Among these, there is also the single Polypropylene which was chosen as the first extract.
Polypropylene (CinicoDisenchanto/Artist First) is an electro-pop song with an ironic and disillusioned edge. THE Borghese Cosmonauts they reflect on appearances, artificial relationships and constructed narratives. They provide a glimpse of the present, observed from a distance. In this way, it is possible to understand how in a continuous flow of stimuli, clickbait and competition, everything seems to have to work, perform, sell itself. In short, everything revolves around appearance.
Polypropylene it is the story of a reality in which even love is cynical, plastic, ready to be exposed.
