BON JOVI, a band inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will re-release the Diamond-certified album which represents their artistic breakthrough on February 28, 2025 on Vinile Picture Limited Edition: Slippery When Wet.
The reissue will also be available, on Double CD and DSP, with bonus tracks.
There Deluxe Edition includes an acoustic version of “Wanted Dead Or Alive“, 4 live recordings of the historian Slippery When Wet Tour from 1987, unreleased mixes of “Livin' On A Prayer (Thank You Goodnight Remix)“, anticipated by the recent documentary series, and “Raise Your Hands (Extended Obie O'Brien Mix)“.
First published on August 18, 1986, Slippery When Wet it hit the audience like a gigantic wave. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and remained there for eight weeks, becoming “the best-selling album of 1987” as well as the band's best-selling album (12 times Platinum). Contains worldwide hits such as “You Give Love A Bad Name“, “Livin' On A Prayer” And “Wanted Dead Or Alive“. The songs of Slippery When Wet they have totaled 9.4 billion streams to date.
