Björk has announced the physical release of the “Cornucopia” concert film, which will be available as a live album, DVD or Blu-ray starting from 25 October.
“Cornucopia: Live” documents the performance of Björk at the Aldom Arena in Lisbon, in Portugal, on 1 September 2023, during the homonymous tour. The available formats will be: triple LP vinyl, double CD, double CD + DVD, DVD and Blu-ray. The pre-order is already active here.
“I am excited to be able to share the film of my Cornucopia concert with you,” Björk said in a press release. “It was a long journey with the contribution of hundreds of people. I am immensely grateful to each of them. I believe that the contemporary film-concrete film is a welcoming form in a matriarchal sense, welcome to the current climate, in which musicians can share their worlds without compromise”.

Directed by the Argentine director Lucrecia Martel, “Cornucopia” includes songs from all the discography of the Icelandic musician, with particular attention to the albums “Utopia” (2017) and “Fossora” (2022). The film was screened in cinemas for a limited period at the beginning of the year. Last autumn, Björk also published a book dedicated to the tour, with over 300 images signed by Santiago Felipe.
More recently, Björk has a sensation for declaring that Spotify is “the worst thing that musicians have ever happened”.
